One of Albert Kahn'’s greatest achievements, this 26-story neoclassical landmark is at the heart of downtown Detroit, bordering Campus Martius, Cadillac Square, and the southern stretch of Woodward that leads toward Hart Plaza. It has been thoroughly renovated and restored to include a café, a gourmet restaurant, and many office tenants. Its unusual "Z" configuration maximizes natural lighting and provides views of the Detroit River, Campus Martius Park, and Windsor Canada. The building includes an attached parking garage with 477 spaces in the west tower and is accessible from Bates Street.
