September 30, 2021 [CLEVELAND] – Bedrock announces that Christopher Noble has been named Senior Vice President of Development in Cleveland. Effective immediately, Noble will be the development lead in Cleveland and head up the development for the local portfolio of projects, including Tower City. In his new role, Noble will also focus on new and forthcoming Bedrock developments in the Cleveland area, and report to John Costello, Chief Development Officer.

“Christopher brings a wealth of insights and specialized experience to our team at a time when we have so many exciting and impactful plans coming together in Cleveland,” said Costello. “His immense industry expertise and knowledge of the Cleveland market will help advance the projects we have underway and those that are still in the planning phase.

This announcement comes just weeks following news that Bedrock is teaming up with the City of Cleveland to make Vision for The Valley a reality by unveiling a 30-year plan to help connect downtown with the Cuyahoga riverfront and pave the way for vital infrastructure improvements. Noble will play a key role in this and other Bedrock projects in and around the downtown Cleveland area, including plans to revitalize Tower City as a destination marketplace.

“With plans for Tower City underway, and numerous other opportunities in downtown to follow, it is my privilege to join the Bedrock team at such a pivotal time,” said Noble. “As a native Clevelander, I can’t wait to get started on innovative development projects that will continue to position Cleveland for growth now and well into the future.”

Most recently, Noble served as Vice President of Development at Washington Prime Group from 2017 to 2020 where he devised and implemented strategic re-development plans across the country. Creating market-specific sustainable and pedestrian-friendly development plans, he managed mixed-use projects that included luxury residential and commercial properties.

In 2008, Noble founded C. M. Noble & Associates, LLC, a real estate advisory firm where, for nine years, he consulted for retailers, institutions, developers, lenders, and equity sources on mixed-use and traditional, single-use residential, retail, office, and hospitality projects. His clients included Dollar General Corporation, Oberlin College, Famicos Foundation and Cleveland Urban Properties.

Prior to this, Noble was Development Director at Forest City Enterprises from 2006 – 2008. As part of the Commercial Group at the publicly traded development, ownership and management company, he directed the complete analysis and development process of mixed-use real estate.

He also held the positions of Vice President of Real Estate Development at Robert L. Stark Enterprises from 1997 to 2006, overseeing retail, commercial and mixed-used projects including Crocker Park; and Project Manager at KeyBank in Corporate Real Estate from 1995 to 1997, where he earned an Award of Excellence. Additionally, between 1989 and 1995,

Noble worked at the Richard E. Jacobs’ Group where he held positions ranging from Tenant Coordinator to Office Building Construction Project Manager.

Noble earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Miami University of Ohio. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, served as Chair of the Founding Board of Trustees at the Cleveland Green Building Coalition, and regularly volunteers with St. Herman’s House - FOCUS Cleveland, and Habitat for Humanity.
