Architect Alexander Chapoton designed this building in 1888 to house the Globe Tobacco Company. Now a landmark, this 6-story Romanesque Revival building is notable for its interior wooden beams, abundant natural lighting, and sweeping arched windows. In 1984, a renovation led by Louis G. Redstone & Associates brought a new vaulted ceiling, updated the elevators, and the lobby.
