September 27, 2016 (DETROIT) – Bedrock and WeWork today announced WeWork will expand to downtown Detroit opening in spring 2017. WeWork is a co-working platform that provides shared workspace, community, and services for entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups and small businesses. Founded in 2010 in New York City, WeWork now has more than 65,000 members and more than 100 locations worldwide including Austin, San Francisco, Portland, Tel Aviv and Shanghai.

WeWork Detroit will be comprised of two locations on Woodward Avenue, 1001 Woodward Ave. and 1449 Woodward Ave., totaling more than 82,000 square feet of co-working space.
