August 20, 2021 [CLEVELAND] – Bedrock is calling all Cleveland musicians to enter “Battle of the Land,” a live musical talent competition series kicking off in September 2021. Artists will compete in a series of head-to-head musical battles at Tower City Center for the ultimate prize of opening for Grammy-award winning Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on October 28.

“Cleveland is synonymous with music, and marquee events like the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Concert and Battle of the Land are exactly the type of excitement and energy that we are bringing to Tower City Center,” said Kofi Bonner, Bedrock CEO. “We know that Clevelanders have many fond memories from their time at Tower City Center and with the destination marketplace set to become a hub for interactive experiences, we’re excited to once again provide a venue for future memories.”

Presented by Bedrock, "Battle of the Land” invites aspiring musicians of all types, genres and sounds to share their talent during a live, four-part competition series. The grand prize winner will open for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony during a free concert at Tower City Center on Oct. 28, 2021. In addition, each of the 16 finalists will receive a $250 gift card (or substitute prize of equivalent value).

How to Apply:

  • The application process runs from August 20 – September 5, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

  • Artists must send video submissions via

  • All applicants

    must be 18+

    and available to appear

    in person

    at Cleveland’s Tower City Center on any combination of the following dates: September 30, October 7, October 14, October 21, October 27 and October 28

  • The grand prize winner will open for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on October 28, 2021

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will perform for their hometown crowd on October 28th, coinciding with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction events, and leading up to the October 30th Ceremony at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The free concert will take place in Skylight Concourse at Tower City Center with doors set to open at 6:00 p.m. Entry will be available on a first come, first served basis for those 18 years of age and above. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Additional information will be released in the coming weeks.
