A block from Grand Circus Park, the mid-rise at 1519 Woodward Ave. was designed by architecture firm Albert Kahn Associates. The six-story structure was built in 1908 as the Grinnell Bros. Music House, specializing in the production and sale of pianos. The property was purchased by Bedrock in 2016, then renovated and restored by architecture firm Neumann/Smith in 2019. The renowned cornice (removed in 1958) was replicated and replaced, and offices and street-level retail space were introduced.
